Summary: Responsible for administration of operations and functions of the Table Games Department in respect to their designated pit, in alignment with the mission, objectives, policies and procedures of the Grand Casino property, and in full accordance with all Federal, State and Tribal gaming regulations.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

include the following:
• Responsible for supervising the operation of specified amount of Tables Games, ensuring compliance with approved policies, procedures and gaming regulations.
• Promotes positive guest relations providing a delightful gaming experience by, answering questions, resolving disputes, calling waitress, providing complimentary, etc.
• Act as a Table Games Ambassador ensuring all Guests needs are met or exceeded.
• Ensures all Table Games Service Standards are adhered to.
• Assists in the selection, training and evaluation of subordinate employees. Maintains the highest quality standards in all areas of customer service and hospitality and developing players.
• Ensures that all games move at an appropriate pace. Maintains appropriate game spread, limits and staffing.
• Responsible for checking bankroll on assigned tables, ensuring accuracy and inventory throughout shift and at shift changes.
• Observes game, dealers and guests to ensure game integrity.
• Responsible for tracking and recording guest activity, noting buy-in, length of play, average bet and win/loss.
• Monitors Table Game action, and effectively communicates to appropriate personnel suspicious, unusual, or excessive activity and responsible for identifying advantage play.
• Ability to effectively deal all games under your supervision with a thorough knowledge of their rules.
• Applies the appropriate level of disciplinary action of associates in his/her span of control to maintain and improve on expected levels of performance and productivity.
• Assists in training and evaluating of subordinate associates in a fair and equitable manner, including the completion of annual performance management appraisals of assigned subordinates.
• Participate in mandatory informational meetings and training sessions as scheduled by management.
• Ensure accuracy and completion of pit documents.
• Completion of all other duties assigned by the Table Games Shift Manager.

Qualifications:

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
• High school diploma or general education degree (G.E.D.) required.
• Six (6) months experience in casino operations required.
• Six (6) months in Table Games experience required.
• Casino Management Certificate preferred.

SPECIAL QUALIFICATIONS:
• Must be computer-literate with specific proficiency in Microsoft applications.
• Must be able to secure appropriate licensing from the gaming commission.

LANGUAGE SKILLS:
• Must be able to effectively communicate in one-on-one, small group situations, and to moderate-sized gatherings of associates and/or executives.
• Must be able to read and interpret financial reports, contracts and legal documents.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS:
• Must be able to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, percentages, common fractions, and decimals.

REASONING ABILITY:
• Must be able to apply commonsense understanding to a variety of situations, in order to collect data, analyze facts, and determine appropriate response.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
While performing the duties of this job, the associate is regularly required to:
• Talk and hear;
• See and adjust focus to include close, distance, depth, and peripheral vision;
• Stand, walk, run, sit, balance, stoop, kneel, climb, crouch and/or crawl;
• Handle objects, tools and controls; reach with arms and hands.
• Lift and/or move objects weighing up to ten (10) pounds.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:
While performing the duties of this job, the associate is regularly exposed to:
• A low-to-moderate noise level (offices).
• A moderate-to-loud noise level (public areas).
• Moving mechanical and/or electrical components.
• Second-hand cigarette/cigar smoke.
