Responsible for accurately recording daily audit totals in a timely manner, thereby ensuring smooth and efficient operations in the Revenue Accounting Division of the Finance Department.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
• Enters daily information into Revenue Audit Report forms; runs back-up reports.
• Prepares journal entries; tracks coupons used on property; sorts and records complimentary receipts.
• Reconciles accounts on a regular basis.
• Assists with the monitoring of all financial activities on property, with respect to Revenue Accounting Division of the Finance Department, to ensure that all applicable laws, rules, regulations and controls of the company, the Mille Lacs Band, the Federal and State Tax Commissions, and the Gaming Commission are enforced throughout the Revenue Accounting Department.
• Evaluates various situations, with respect to Revenue Audits, and determines how best to handle it.
• Ensures a maximum level of company-wide service and satisfaction, in the area of Revenue Accounting, is achieved and maintained.
• Facilitates the flow of information throughout the property, by attending regularly scheduled departmental meetings.
• Held accountable for the accuracy and thoroughness of departmental records and reports.

Qualifications:
EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE:
• High School diploma or General Education Degree (GED) and one year related experience required.
• One Year Accounting Diploma preferred.
SPECIAL QUALIFICATIONS:
• Must possess excellent Guest Service, communication, analytical, and organizational skills.
• Must be extremely numbers oriented.
• Must be computer-literate with specific proficiency in Microsoft applications.
• Must be able to 10-key at 125 wpm accurately.
• Must be able to type at least 40 wpm accurately.
• Must be able to secure appropriate licensing from the gaming commission.
LANGUAGE SKILLS:
• Must be able to effectively communicate in one-on-one and small group situations.
• Must be able o comprehend instructions furnished oral, written or diagram from.
• Must be able to listen and willing to ask questions.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS:
• Must be able to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, percentages, common fractions, and decimals.
REASONING ABILITY:
• Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draws valid conclusions, and determines appropriate response.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
While performing the duties of this job, the associate is regularly required to:
• Talk and hear;
• See and adjust focus to include close, distance, depth, and peripheral vision;
• Stand, walk, run, sit, balance, stoop, kneel, climb, crouch and/or crawl;
• Handle objects, tools and controls; reach with arms and hands.
• Lift and/or move objects weighing up to twenty (20) pounds.
