NATIVE AMERICAN MUSIC & ARTS FESTIVAL

NATIVE AMERICAN MUSIC & ARTS FESTIVAL

September 3, 10 a.m. – 5 p.m.

The Mille Lacs Indian Museum and Trading Post along with the MNHS Native American Initiatives Department are excited to host the Native Music and Arts Festival! Come enjoy a day of art, music, demonstrations, food, and more. There’s something for everyone!

Over a dozen artists will be sharing information about their artwork and selling it, including some of our Native American Artists in Residence. You’ll also enjoy Native American musicians throughout the day, including flute music by Mille Lacs Band member Max Black, rock and roll band War Bonnet, and our headliner, Corey Medina and Brothers. Master of Ceremonies will be Deanna Standing Cloud, and a Trickster Tacos food truck will be onsite all day! This festival is free and open to the public. Museum admission not included.
