Onamia, Minn. – Grand Casino Mille Lacs is in the final stages of preparation and ready to welcome the 2016 Toyota® Bassmaster Angler of the Year tournament this week – September 15 – 18, 2016. This is the first time the Elite series has ever visited Lake Mille Lacs, a multi-species lake home to plentiful trophy northern, musky and – as will be demonstrated during this tournament – trophy smallmouth bass.
Grand Casino Mille Lacs announced today it will be hosting a Mille Lacs Community Festival during the 2016 Toyota® Bassmaster Angler of the Year Tournament happening September 15-18, 2016. The Community Festival, which will run September 17 and 18, will showcase local and regional vendors and highlight the businesses and community groups that make the Mille Lacs region a world-class fishing and vacation destination.

In an effort to restock area food shelves, Grand Casino Mille Lacs and Grand Casino Hinckley held a massive food drive at each casino Tuesday, March 24 through Thursday, March 26.
